The best gym in Chicago is..??

We read and hear from from all types of people what the best gyms around town are. From the very cheap $9 a month gym, to the high end gyms that are more about a status symbol such as David Barton gym, with $100 plus memberships and yearly special charges typically in the $400-600 price range. To the in between L.A Fitness or X-sport,Planet, Charter, even boot camps. So with so many decisions which gym will give me that new body of my dreams, you might ask yourself?

The answer is fairly easy first of all ask yourself which time can I or do I want to work out. Before work in the early morning, near my home, near work, after work? Once you determine a time that you can go workout on a consistent basis, then determine the closest most convenient gym facility that you can go on a daily basis. This gym facility should have the equipment needed to shape up your new body, so if your goal is to do more cardio then choose a facility that specializes in spinning or aerobics classes, has a full array of cardio machines, if your goal is to build muscle make sure you new gym is fully stocked with dumbbells and weight lifting equipment.

Your fitness facility need not be fancy, you can build one in your basement, you might have a fitness facility in your building, or there might be a great little facility down the street that has everything your looking for to get in shape. Don't make the mistake of signing a contract to a gym just because of the brand, where you will be stuck in traffic or just is out of the way. Gyms rely on people just not showing up, they can sell memberships all day because they know that the majority of people will typically only show up once or twice a week at the very most. Convenience is definitely one of the top ways that will help you get in shape and build the body of your dreams in no time!
